Formerly Phu Rieng plantation, the result of the first colonial exploitation of the French colonialists in Vietnam since 1927. It is a Basalt red land with a climate and geology suitable for rubber tree development but It is also a place with a revolutionary tradition, where the first Communist Party cell in the Southeast was born on October 28, 1929. After the liberation of the South, unification of the country, and implementation of the first Cooperation Agreement with the (former) Soviet Union, on May 21, 1981, Dong Phu Rubber Company was established.

After nearly 30 years of construction and growth, from a farm with an area of ​​3,000 hectares of old rubber trees destroyed by bombs and bullets, Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company now has an area of ​​​​over 10,000 hectares of rubber trees. , with nearly 8,000 hectares of orchards under exploitation.
